Black Africans Built and Ruled Ancient Kemet (Egypt)

Cheikh Anta Diop: The most influential black scholar.

Cheikh Anta Diop

Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop (1923 -1986) is a nuclear physicist, anthropologist, linguist, historian, philosopher and politician. He had used his extensive knowledge in science and linguistics to provide stunning evidence to the world scientific and egyptological communities that Ancient Egytian Civilization was black and that the Pharoahs were Negroes.

He set a new stage and perspective in the study of Egyptology and had been mandated by UNESCO in the writing of 'The General History of Africa'. He is one of the greatest advocates for the re-writing of the World History and most importantly the History of Africa.

Dr. Diop also scientifically proved that there are many similarities between current african languages and the ancient egyptian language. He further advanced that 'Egypt is to Africa what Greece is to Europe' and urged African to build their value systems based on the legacy of Ancient Egypt.

Many consider Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop as the greatest African historian, researcher and scientist; and the most influential Black Scholar of the 20th century.

"Intellectuals should study the past not for their pleasure but to learn useful lessons."

Cheikh Anta Diop

Dr. Kwame Nkrumah: Father of Pan-Africanism in Africa.

Kwame Nkrumah

"Remember, our ultimate goal is one Union Government for all Africa. It is the only hope for Africa. It is the only road to salvation. Our contention is simple, clear and just. Africa is indivisible whole. As now balkanised by artificial boundaries and fashionable imperialist, neo-colonialist doctrines. Africa cannot possibly come into her own. Africa must come face to face with imperialism, neo-colonialism and racialism. The hour has come to do so by the invincible revolutionary forces of Pan-Africanism."

Kwame Nkrumah , Voice From Conakry, p.68

"The philosophy that must stand behind this social revolution is that which I have once referred to as philosophical consciencism; consciencism is the map in intellectual terms of the disposition of forces which will enable African society to digest the Western and the Islamic and the Euro-Christian elements in Africa, and develop them in such a way that they fit into the African personality. The African personality is itself defined by the cluster of humanist principles which underlie the traditional African Society. Philosophical consciencism is that philosophical standpoint which, taking its start from the present content of the African conscience, indicates the way in which progress is forged out of the conflict in that conscience..."

Kwame Nkrumah, Consciencism, p.79.

Dr. Ivan van Sertima: Influential Afrocentic Theorist.

Dr. Ivan Van Sertima

"The lineaments of a lost science are now emerging and we can glimpse some of the once buried reefs of this remarkable civilization. A lot more remains to be revealed. But enough has been found in the past few years to make it quite clear that the finest heart of the African world receded into the shadow while its broken bones were put on spectacular display. The image of the African, therefore, has been built up so far upon his lowest common denominator. In the new vision of the ancestor, we need to turn our eyes away from the periphery of the primitive to the more dynamic source of genius in the heartland of the African world."

Ivan Van Sertima, BLACK IN SCIENCE, Ancient and Modern.

"African guanines were alloys of gold containing copper for the sake of its odor, for it seems that the negroes like to smell their wealth. The guanines brought home by Columbus were assayed in Spain and were found to contain the same ratio of alloy as those in African Guinea."

Frederick Pohl, Amerigo Vespucci, Pilot Major (Quoted from 'They came Before Columbus' by Ivan van Sertima, P 1.)
